Paris Fashion Week S/S2021 Round-up

Our best looks from the catwalks for Paris Fashion Week S/S2021

Fashion week season in the new Covid era came to an end on Tuesday with Paris Fashion Week and once again we were treated to the innovation and ingenuity of the fashion industry.  Every day there were designers experimenting and developing new ways to show collections when traditional means weren’t available or were considered just too risky.  Live video interactions from screens that replaced in-person attendance added to an almost futuristic feel to the fashion weeks.  As always, this time we break down 12 of our favourite looks from the PFW catwalks, in no particular order:

1.  Acne Studios

Who doesn’t love a bit of slouchy sophistication that catches the light in all the best ways?

2.  Alexandre Vauthier

AV turned the dial up on chic sophistication at PFW and then broke the knob off.

3.  Balmain

Honestly? Balmain’s was a literal ‘take your breath away’ kind of show. Those BIG shoulders will be everywhere next summer!

4.  Chanel

Chanel LBD with a gorgeous swallow-tail train? We are ALL about it!

5. Dior

Gotta love the Bohemian chic of this look.

6.  Givenchy

These long, skyscraper lines from Matthew Williams are sure to be turning heads next summer.

7.  Hermes

The strong, clean simplicity from Hermes for next summer is exquisite.

8.  Isabel Marant

Bright colours and 80’s ‘Disco’ chic never looked so fashionable!

9.  Louis Vuitton

We’re betting Nicolas Ghesquière agrees with us that there’s one last chance to save America this year.

10.  Miu Miu

We’re already feeling the warmth of next summer with these bright, beautiful colours.

11.  Issey Miyake

Yes. We can feel the power of the flower too.

12.  Rick Owens

There will be no mistaking the military style futurism of Rick Owens on the streets next summer!
