Milan Fashion Week S/S2021 Round-Up

MFW S/S2021 brought the best out of the best as we count down our favourite looks

As the (fashion) world barrels headlong into Paris Fashion Week we’d like to take a pause and look back on what was a very successful Milan Fashion Week S/S2021.  There were more physical shows to attend than London Fashion Week due to the Italian Government having a better handle on the virus that the UK government, but there were also some great hybrid innovations for some shows that added a little something extra that we all appreciated.  Look out for them in our round-up of the looks we loved the most, in no particular order, from MFW:

1. Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini

The paint-spattered effect coupled with the layering and the boots screams ‘young, carefree, artistic and creative’. Not a bad haul for one look!

2. Francesca Liberatore

Libertore’s beautiful prints for next summer will take you on a journey regardless of if you actually go anywhere or not.

3. Emporio Armani

There’s a beautiful, romantic simplicity to this look that has us already longing for next summer, even though we haven’t technically left the current one yet!

4. No.21

As well as the stunning colour, we’re loving the ultra-chic silhouette here and the nice detail of the single sleeve revealing the bejewelled sleeve from the shirt worn underneath.

5. Boss

Who doesn’t adore the colour on this beautiful dress?  The silver studded perforations at the hem are just a bonus.

6. MM6 Maison Margiela

Another silhouette we’re really smitten with from MFW.  This bolero jacketed suit comes alive when teamed with ice-white gloves, shirt and boots.

7. Max Mara

Any season is a good season for a gorgeous coat, particularly one with an equally gorgeous sleeve construction as Max Mara’s.

8. Fendi

Sheer fabrics were big on the Fendi catwalk this season, like this amazing long over shirt featuring a graduated colour shift design.

9. TOD’S

The colour, shape and style of this delicious dress confirms that comfort and style are not mutually exclusive propositions.

10. Moschino

The Romantic fantasy of this dress is only multiplied by the marionette wearer in Moschino’s innovative ‘puppet show’ for MFW.
