Giorgio Armani Neve Collection

Charlotte Lewis looks at the new winter collection from the Italian House

Just in time for the winter season, the exciting Giorgio Armani Neve tour is set to continue its journey this coming December 10th.  The tour, which was first launched in 2021, starts in St. Moritz with an event held in conjunction with the Swiss Tourist Board, and will cover some of Europe’s most elusive ski resorts into 2023: Verbier from 18th December – 18th March, Courchevel from 11th February – 7th April, and Megève from 6th December – 20th March.

St Moritz will begin with a showcase of the Neve AW22/23 collection on the grounds of the iconic Olympia Stadium, an historic venue that was home to both the 1928 and 1948 winter Olympic Games.  With the natural light and distinctive building design style as a stage, the setting is destined to make the perfect backdrop for the telling of an evocative new story.

That story is a love letter to snow-capped mountains, with clean lines and cool tones shaping the narrative along the way.  Neve brings to us warm velvet, luxurious faux fur and comforting puff padding.  Cosy puffer jackets, windbreakers, coats and gilets are the main events, with a muted palette of bright greens, deep blues, neutral, and white and black dominating the spectrum.

For women, the favourite La Prima shoulder bag has also been transformed for this year, now coming in a pleasingly shaggy shearling fabric.  The new collection takes the overall functionality of alpine sportswear and wraps it up in an extraordinarily stylish bow – with mittens, hats, gloves and scarves adding the final little touches.

With innovative winter silhouettes like flared salopettes, the stark graphic patterns seen throughout and the bold new ideas on cold-weather skiwear, Giorgio Armani Neve has all your Christmas wishes in one collection.
