After the triumph of her recent Alexander McQueen AW23 pre-collection, the creative mind of Sarah Burton returns once again to push boundaries with a rejuvenated House icon, the Jewelled Satchel. Playing heavily on the familiar biker style aesthetic, the new bag has been transformed into the edgy and versatile Biker Jewelled Satchel.

Naturally, the Satchel showcases the dramatic Knuckle hardware at the clasp that has become a signature and draws deep from the rebellious McQueen spirit. But the striking presence is further enhanced by the broad leather shoulder straps and chunky chain detailing. There’s a new ruggedness to the refined silhouette this time around, perfectly encapsulated in the campaign images and film from the eye of photographer David Sims.

The bag’s versatility shines through as one of its winning subtexts. It can be worn over the shoulder or cross-body, adapting to any circumstance. And it also comes available in four variations, allowing for that extra little expression of individuality. The timeless allure of black leather offers a classic and sophisticated choice, while the crimson red exudes daring confidence. For those with a slightly more playful disposition, there’s the multi-coloured tweed for a different texture and approach. Finally, the brutalist rows of metal spikes on black leather delivers a confrontational punk undertone.
